They came in shiny suburbans and rust-worn beaters . . . and we served them all with a smile!

Gas.
Grace.
God's love.
About half of the current body of LIFEChurch went beyond the walls into the community to serve our neighbors in a creative way on a chilly Saturday morning in February. We sold gas for only $1.25 cents/gallon, fed drivers hot coffee, donuts and bottled water – washed windshields and prayed for their cares and concerns.

It truly was a vision of the Kingdom of God at work...
52 adults from LIFEChurch worked like a well-oiled machine, all using their unique gifts and reaching out to all sorts and conditions of men and women in the name of Jesus. All told, in 3 hours we gave away almost $2,800 in free gasoline . . . cleaned 315 car windshields and served over 400 people. Most importantly, we were able to listen to their many concerns and pray to God with them for their heartfelt needs. One woman said it "was the first time her car has been filled up." Other comments were "This is crazy man!" "What's the catch?" "Finally, someone cares!"
That's what LIFEChurch is all about – taking our faith "beyond our walls" into the streets and demonstrating the love of Christ in practical ways!
Many thanks to all of you who served & prayed to make the day a success!
