What is a LIFE Transformation Group [LTG]?

The LTG is simple, yet powerful. There are several Biblical reasons why a small unit of 2 or 3 is better than a larger group when it comes to making and multiplying disciples.

  1. Community: Life change doesn't occur in a vacuum; it happens in relationship with others. We need each other for strength and support.
  2. Accountability: Few things get done without some degree of accountability. There are at least 28 "one another" commands in the New Testament. We need one another to live the life Christ intends for us.
  3. Confidentiality: It's easier to maintain confidentiality in a group of 2 or 3 rather than a larger group and the Lord specifically designated that 2 or 3 is best for confession of sin.
  4. Flexibility: It's easier to coordinate calendars of 2 or 3 and an LTG can meet anywhere.
  5. Reproducibility: It's easier to reproduce a smaller, simpler group than a larger more complex entity. Maybe that's why the Lord commanded us to make more disciples rather than churches. Transformed disciples in community is the base unit for the Kingdom of God. Contact for details.
