LIFEKids
LIFEKids exists to build a foundation that is everlasting.
We supplement parents in their desire to develop their child spiritually and to point children, K—5th grade, toward a daily relationship with a living, relevant, awesome God!
HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN LIFEKIDS:
- "God and Me" 5 week program beginning Sundays at 10:30 AM, May 27, June 3, 10, 17 and 24. This program helps kids know that God is active in their lives and that Jesus is their BEST friend. If your child is a Boy Scout or Girl Scout or you know one that would like to participate and earn this award, contact .
- MidSouth Family Camp Weekend! A wonderful weekend at Frontier Camp for your whole family to enjoy God’s creation and grow closer to each other . . . May 4–6. Register online by April 28 at: www.midsouthcov.org. Pick up a brochure at the LIFEKids table or contact
- Current Curriculum:
KIDMO isn't only about biblical stories—it's about biblical worldview—not just information, but transformation in children's lives. Current series in LIFEKids is "Beefeasians" and includes active learning and experiential teaching where discovery helps children internalize the truth of the lesson.
- LIFEKid Bucks! Your Children can earn LIFEKid BUCKS by:
• bringing back their signed M.A.P. books
• bringing a friend to LIFEKids
• memorizing specific biblical passages
We'll keep the tickets with their name on it at LIFEKids so the children can shop. OR, they can “purchase” juice and a treat for 1 ticket on the same Sunday they earn the ticket. What a great way to reinforce biblical teaching!
- LIFEKids Offering . . . the kids bring their offering each Sunday.
So…where does the money go? We want every minute to count, so the idea of providing an opportunity where giving an offering makes a tangible difference in another child’s life and that child is introduced to Jesus, makes a lot of sense. That’s why LIFEKids is sponsoring a 6 year old boy from Honduras, Darwin Rene Trochez Perez, (through COMPASSION). Contact .
