LIFEYouth exists to inspire passion inside the heart of a student and set free in a young mind the infinite possibilities of a life that is focused on God. A young life willfully submitted to God is a life that will change many others in its path. What greater purpose could there be than to be the spark that ignites the fire?

DARA THOMPSON, Jr. & Sr. High Student Director
Dara has been a part of Young Life since 1999—at first as a student and then, in 2007, as a leader. She has a degree in English from Wiley College and is a graduate from Elkins HS in FBISD. Dara loves movies, going to the beach and teal is her favorite color. The gospel of John is her favorite book in the bible. Other little known facts: she's learning to cook and hopes to visit all 50 states (has 30 under her belt already). Better known fact: she cherishes her lovely, over-sized retriever, Tobey!
